Qualification Program
CorMic aims to train the next generation of outstanding scientist and engineers in a highly interdisciplinary and rapidly evolving field, so that the doctoral researchers are perfectly equipped with the competences and skills needed to contribute to the emerging global challenges by generating advancements in functional materials and devices, and to assume leadership roles in both industry or academia. To maximize the synergy, CorMic’s qualification program is closely interconnected with the research program, building on the tight interplay of CorMic’s competence areas “methodologies”, “materials”, and “data”. Our qualification program consists of four qualification pillars (QPs): weekly RTG seminars, RTG interaction events, transferable skills seminars and internationalization and outreach.
